What can TFM do for you?
In this presentation, Cyril Thibault, DYNAMICALLY explains the benefits of new imaging approaches.
He especially focuses on showing that FMC/TFM and related techniques not only give excellent imaging resolution, but are also FAST and industry proof.
Check the video and learn more about FMC/TFM key benefits:
Versatility
High-resolution imaging
Speed
Adaptability to real-world industrial applications
TOTAL FOCUSING METHOD - Key TAKE AWAYS
- Total Focusing Method is not only FMC/TFM, it is the tip of the iceberg in terms of imaging techniques.
- One of TFM’s key benefits is the high-resolution imaging. It is achieved through a two-step process: acquisition and reconstruction.
- Step 1 = ACQUISITION: can be adjusted depending on requirements for speed/resolution
- Step 2 = TFM = RECONSTRUCTION with a toolbox of image reconstruction algorithms
- TFM does not only bring higher resolution/POD, it can also solve applications for which single-element Ultrasonic Testing /Phased Array are inefficient.
-
TFM can be used at a speed compatible with industrial applications such as:
Inspection of noisy material
Inspection of billet / large cross-sections
